Good to know

The kitchen is open daily 11:00–21:00 all year, including 24 and 25 December.
Every day 11:00–17:00 two open sandwiches and a drink cost 250 kr.; Tuesday evening is tartlets and Thursday evening all-you-can-eat crispy pork (175 kr.).
In the early 1900s White Star Line sold tickets at Nyhavn 5, and according to the inn the windows with "New York" etched in the glass are still there.
A fire in the hearth in winter and sun on the terrace in summer.

How to get there.

Metro: Kongens Nytorv (M1, M2, M3, M4) — about 1 min walk along the quay.
Bus: Several bus lines stop at Kongens Nytorv, at the end of the canal.
Bike: Lock your bike at Kongens Nytorv and walk the last stretch along the quay.
Accessibility: Several Nyhavn restaurants are in cellars with steps down — ask the venue about steps and toilets.
Cash & cards: Most places take cards; some add a card fee. Service is included in Danish prices, so tipping is optional.
