Independence statement

VisitNyhavn.com is an independent editorial guide to the Nyhavn area in Copenhagen. The site is NOT affiliated with VisitDenmark, VisitCopenhagen, Wonderful Copenhagen, or any other official tourism authority or organisation.

The site is published by Bullitt Ventures ApS (CVR 46248902). Content is reader-funded and the publication does not accept payment for placement, sponsored recommendations or affiliate commissions. We don't sell reservations.

Editorial policy

Every venue write-up is based on a physical visit by our editor. When we mention a venue early on a list, it's because we've chosen a transparent sorting rule — typically geographic by house number along the sunny side — not because we have a preference.

If you find a factual error, write to us: we update quickly and note corrections visibly.

Ordering and placement

Lists are ordered by geographic position along the Nyhavn quay — sunny side (odd house numbers) first, then shade side (even numbers), and within each side ascending by house number. That is the only ordering rule.

No venue can buy placement. Not Hyttefadet, not Færgekro, not Cap Horn, not anyone. We don't accept gifts, meals or compensation that would influence our recommendations.

Images and rights

During the staging phase the site uses temporary Unsplash images marked "Foto: Staging — replace with licensed shot at launch". Before launch all images are replaced with properly licensed photos with full credit.

Cookies and privacy

The site uses no tracking cookies, no analytics tags that identify individual visitors, and no third-party advertising pixels. We don't collect personal data through normal browsing. If you contact us via the contact form, your message is handled per GDPR and deleted when the matter is closed.

Content labelling

Some descriptions are drafted with AI assistance and reviewed and edited by humans before publication. We mark it here because transparency is part of independence.
