How we choose

Short version: nobody can buy a spot on VisitNyhavn. The order of our lists follows one transparent rule — guests' ratings, not our preference.

The ordering rule

Lists are sorted by guests' overall rating: the average of each venue's own ratings on Google, Tripadvisor and others, weighted by number of reviews, highest first. When two venues tie, the one with more reviews comes first. You can switch to 'Along the quay' (sunny side first, by house number) or A–Z. Nobody can buy a better position.

What we never do

No venue can buy placement. We do not accept gifts, meals or compensation that could influence our recommendations, and every venue gets identical Visit buttons and the same template.
