How we choose

Short version: nobody can buy a spot on VisitNyhavn. The order of our lists follows one transparent rule — geography, not preference.

The ordering rule

Lists are ordered by geographic position along the Nyhavn quay: sunny side (odd house numbers) first, then shade side (even numbers), and within each side ascending by house number. That is the only ordering rule.

What we never do

No venue can buy placement — not Hyttefadet, not Færgekro, not Cap Horn, not anyone. We do not accept gifts, meals or compensation that could influence our recommendations, and every venue gets identical Visit buttons and the same template.
